As they explained it to me, Tempest is not ADSL, it is a service that
Clear will provide using whatever technology suits them for that time
and place. It may be over fibre. for example. Consequently, they insist
on providing all hardware components, including whatever kind of router
is needed at the customer end.

Fine, but they didn't get the business.
