Setting it up from windows is a good idea - but for some reason (stuff Up
on 3Com's part I assume) my
 modem did not include the cd for the install software, or any
documentation, and I have not managed
to find the software on the net (though did find some documentation)

so until I can get hold of that software, I'm not gonna be able to do the
config under windows, which
does seem to be the way to go.

I have started a little faq about getting it going
Its not very finished at the moment.and some stuff needs adding on..

Just make sure you have it working in windows 1st and you dont' have to
chnage anything after that)

I will also have a downloadable config file soon for the ADSL modem so you
don't have to run windows
to get it set up right on linux.
