Out of interest can anyone calculate or advise how to calculate the traffic volume generated by such frequent pings?
If no activity that would be X bytes x 7200 per day. What is X???
(Hmmm, I suppose this is less of an issue given "almost" flat rates presumably being used.)

| sure it can't come near my old M11, which had an uptime of well over a month
| at one point :)
