I think they are getting a little confused. Thinking you are only pinging the 3com router. This may work as well? Does it
to keep it up. Maybe if you ping the 3com it updates the LCP information and that is converted to LCP updates also on the
DSL. The difference between the Nokia M11's and the 3com is the nokia's are doing proper PPP over ATM. The 3com's are doing
PPP over ethernet (from computer to 3com), and thats conveted to PPP over ATM (To their network). I can't find in the
information in the Nokia Docs about the LCP settings (what they are by default), but maybe the default for the equipment we
all connect to are set at a low LCP option, (set to 15 secs) and just the default LCP option that windows/linux/whatever
use is too high.(30 secs).
