didn't i read on this list somewhere a couple of weeks back, some unix guru
going on about the size of windows drivers etc....

oh well... never seen a 84mb windows driver

Just download the relevant files and looks lile it should work just fine
in NZ. You have to use the patch pppd and the patched kernel the same as
the alcatel USB Modem I got working under linux. The only "worrying"
thing is its not opened source which means the modules to enable the
card might not work properly unless you just 2.4.0-test9 :-( . You have
to -f at the moment with insmod to load the modules.

Really the only useful files from the 84M tar file was the rpm file with
the loadable modules!
