PPPoA -- that's what Telecom's network uses, and the Setup Wizard
configures that side of the connection (modem-to-Telecom), *not* the PC-to-
modem side.

(At least, I don't think it configures that side. I run my Dual Link
from a Linux server, so I haven't used the Windows software. It's
possible that the Windows software might set up the actual DUN connection
later, but if it's giving you a choice of several PPP connection types,
PPPoA is the one you want.)

Once the PPPoE software is set up on your PC (this may need to be done
separately, apart from the modem setup -- as I said, I haven't use dthe
Windows software), it should treat the Dual Link like any other dial-up
device (that being the PPP part). As a result, you put in the user ID and
password when configuring the dial-up connection (rather than the physical
device), like you would if you were setting up a dial-up link over an
ordinary 56K modem.

Installing the Windows PPPoE software may or may not set up the Dial-Up
Networking connection for you. If it doesn't, you'll need to set it up
yourself. Once that's done, though, just start it up like you would an
ordinary analog modem connection, and you should be good to go.
