On the M11, ports seem to be irrelevant for non-TCP/UDP protocols.

This is as it should be..there ain't no ports in GRE!

Your milage may vary with other modems.

I've had the M11 working with both PPTP GRE and IPSec ESP pinholes with
ports set to 0 0
