After the changes on Friday morning I've experienced seven outages of 15
seconds or more - only one of which was more than 30 seconds. This is down
from an average of around twenty micro-outages per day. I'd, of course,
prefer a 100% uptime but something like 2 minutes downtime per few days I
can deal with .. for the time being at least. It's certainly an improvement
and applaud the, albeit somewhat belated, efforts on Telecoms (read: Waynes
;-) ) part. This is not to say I believe the problem is fixed, I'd like to
see a continuing effort to sort it out completely.
This is with a static IP through Asia Online in the Grey Lynn area
incidentally.

I'm still experiencing some outages to my Grey Lynn connection. I'm
wondering if this was because the Paradise CAR/RANs has not had its
timing fixed yet or (just experienced a 2-3s outage then) is
it something else?

Its actually quite regular. ie. at least 5 times in the last 30
mintues.
My other connection seems fine.
