RIPv2 is pretty ok but iMHO quite slow in propagation. You use different routing
protocols depending what you are trying to do. We use RIP/OSPF/BGP here,
depending on the application/hardware involved. Telecom
must use RIP if they think its the best way of doing it, otherwisr they would
use something else like
OSPF related (really good for dial up type stuff)
