You'll need a repeater(hub) or switch as it has only one ethernet port...
It doesn't have a DHCP server, so manual configuration of ip addresses is
needed unless you have one internally. Note that it can't be a dhcp client
either...

True...

Which is pretty crappy - doesn't have a full CLI reference manual...

Pete - did you have any problems initially? I noticed that the dsl-on
software that came with it had templates for most isps, but not all. Also,
it seems to setup ppp chap authentication by default with the templates.
Jetstream and Jetstart use PAP - did it work, or did you need to change to
PAP?
For beginners, note that the dsl-on software is a bit quick'n'dirty - when
you first configure the router, it doesn't tell you that it is going to set
the IP address of the router to 192.168.7.1 (why 7??? maybe 7 was the
developers favourite number???), and worse still, automatically change your
PC networking to 192.168.7.2/24 DG/Way =.1
Notice that the configs with dsl-on has hard coded DNS servers?
Cheers,
- Derek.
