Each to their own. After setting up a Ni500, I'm very keen to set up a 3Com.
Besides the Ni500 lacks some features that the 3Com+Linux solution would provide
(such as pin-holes).

I would call that "M(W)1122 Syndrome" as it doesn't happen on the Nokia M11 I
have here, nor the M10 we used to have. I havn't see it on the Ni500 either,
although our first unit used to reboot itself 7-10 times a day. A replacment
unit from DSE fixed that :)

As stated previously it is on a JetSTART line, so a speed comparision isn't
possible.
