I have a telecom-installed Filter behind one of the jackpoints in my place
(its actually up in the roof).

When the install was done this was the most convenient wall socket to use -
now, its not. I have an ethernet cable running halfway across the house to
my linux gateway (rather messy) and the phone socket in this room (my 2nd
room, used by my flatmate) is unusable for any other purpose as the DSL is
always online.

With one of these filters can I plug a normal telephone in?
If I want to move the DSL to another wall socket in my house what is required?

Mark.
