Your guess is correct. I may get into Linux in the future, but for now
I'm a happy Mac user with VPC for accessing those web sites (BNZ) who
don't understand that the whole point of writing applets in java is to
make them platform independent.

Warnings on this list suggest not only that the Ni500 has limitations
compared to the M1122, but unfortunately there are unexpected
restrictions built into Jetstart. I'm reluctant to get into a
pay-per-megabyte service because I fear the bandwidth appetites of my
children could lead to a nasty shock at the end of the month.
