15k up and down is pretty "normal" the Max (on average) is ~16

50-60ms (I guess you mean) to most NZ Sites is normal. If you are getting
90-120ms then something is wrong (your internet provider or Modem or
something else). A traceroute to a number of NZ Sites might show where the
slowdown is (if any)
