There is no native PPTP support on a Mac, however Efficient make a client,
check out their web site. Tunnel Builder its called...
http://www.efficient.com/products/builder.html

Costs money, Actually quite a bit of money US$99 + freight and is quite
good. However they are Claiming support for OS8 like its news, It does work
under OS9 but gets a bit flakey, OS9.1 is very flakey... Wouldn't want to
get near OSX with it...

So, anyone come across another client??

Cheers

Dave

Subject: PPTP and MacOS X

Anyone had success with the Alcatel Speedtouch Home and Mac OS X?

I've got a friend who is about to get DSL and went into shock when he
discovered everything in the retail stores was USB only.

If the Mac supports PPTP then the home should be a good solution,
otherwise the pro for a few more $$ should be the next best option.

Are there any retail stores stocking the Home yet? He would prefer to
buy from a local store (Dunedin) but mailorder will do if no one local
has it. DSE still only seem to have the Pro listed.
