Now c'mon Dan, thats a bit rich from an ex-pat (Mac withdrawl symtoms?).
Those of us that live under the Telecom regime already know that ordering an
A1 dry copper circuit for ADSL is a no no in NZ. Something to do with "noise
levels" so they are tuned to voice frequencies. Also, at $90 an end,
wireless starts to look more attractive.

We have been running 2Mb SDSL (bridged ethernet) over dry copper for more
than two years now, works like a charm, just that you have to "roll your
own" copper :(
