But they don't claim 3 miles at 2.3M. Being 3 miles we are talking USA
and they like 1.5M (for T1). Also depends on weight of cable. On 0.4
PEFUT cable you will be lucky to get over 2.7Km at 2.3M. Heavier cable =
further distance. Lower speed = longer distance. Heavier cable and lower
speed = even longer distance.

2.7K. SHDSL has a place but may be not in the 'Jetstream' type

I remember that silver bullet G.Lite, it got a lot of press because of
the
"killer app" - no need to install a splitter - nice in theory, in
practice
the cost of that splitter became negligable.
So is G.SHDSL going to go the same way, or can you really get 2Mbs
full
duplex out to 10 kilometres from the exchange?
