At the moment marketing hype. Particularly the no jumper bit - how does
the cable re-terminate itself to the DSLAM line card?

Sorry, that should have been 10K feet, will they ever go metric.

No, definately not Jetstream, after all paying for phone calls by the
megabyte would get a few subscribers scratching their heads when they
got
the phone bill.

The concept of a single line card at the exchange that supports E1,
ISDN,
POTs et. al. and a CPE device that just negotiates these services must
have
Telecom scratching their heads.

No more jumpering at the exchange, no more site visits to install
additional
lines "Just click here for 3 PABX trunks and an E1", all over a single
copper pair.

Or is this just more marketing hype?
