Sure. A mask of 255.255.254.0 will work. Or 255.255.0.0. Or a
number of other possibilities.
This will of course only work if you physically take your PC and plug
it into his network -- it's not going to work over the internet due
to NAT, non-routing of these special IP numbers etc
