You need to create a small script to re-connect you connection if it goes
down, have a look in the archives of this list for an example and more
information...

Well I now have my ST Home notionally working under Linux with the PPTP
support. I'm currently on JetStart with Paradise.

My Modem firmware is reported as

Khdsaa3.270 (1003194)

One thing I can't get it to do is hold the line up. Have I got a setting
wrong that is causing it to timeout if not used, or is it a PPP setting I
might be defaulting to?

The line works fine while i'm downloading. Usually doing about 16Kbytes/sec
which i'm more than happy with.

Steve
