I find this quite interesting. I recently had a chat with a Clear tech
who was configuring one of their new large grey boxes which are full
of cards, power supplies, and batteries, (not to mention more than a
couple of fans) I got the distinct impression that on any line pair
they could provide practically any service all for the price of
flipping some bits.
