I've had dsl with Paradise, Xtra and now World-net(cause my mate works
their) and to be honest I haven't had a problem with any of them. Try one
of the little guys. Competition is a good thing and if it don't work out
its easy to switch.

"Micro Outages" don't affect as far as I know affect ISP who are using
FastIPDirect (Orcon, Web Internet,Quik, ( I dunno the others)??)
All Jetstream ISP's can give a static IP address on jetstream, (if they
charge you more for this, is up to them)

I guess I am biased (as I work for one of these ISP's), so I would say "go
for us"
