Hey David,

I am looking around at alternatives to Xtra for my home ADSL and checked
out Web Internet. I like how your $5wk cheaper or $60 yr Cheaper than
Xtra.

You have been recommended very highly although there are two things
about your conditions that put my off and I wonder if others are put off
by them as well?

>From your web page:-

1. Should servers interfere with the network (eg are Flood attacked),
there will be a fee of $150 per hour of technicians time spent bringing
the problem under control.

This worries me, anyone can be flooded and at any time? Surely this is
out of the control of the user? Sure running a server makes you a more
likely target but isn't every one that doesn't have a NAT router?
Internal ADSL modems without a firewall can be ping flooded?

2. Limits on the connection. (If your usage is > 7 gigs of non gaming
trafic a month the connection may be terminated with 1 months notice.)

I'm unlikely to go over this level of usage but was wondering if you
send warning emails to the user when approaching the 6gb mark?

3. Napster and FTP get low priority

This doesn't make sense to me? Surely a $5 cheaper service doesn't mean
I'm reduced to modem speed again?

Your dymanic DNS is a very positive move for ISP's! Great!

Cheers,
Carl Buckley
