A flood ping will not bring down our network. A Distributed Denial of
service attack might. We have not had to charge *any* ADSL clients to
date. Running an IRC server or similar could, however, make you a target.
Ofcourse, Jetstart was never designed for servers (not my fault)

We would send them e-Mail warning them that if they did it again the
following month they would be disconnected. We have notified less then
half a dozen customers of this.

Well, 128k costs an ISP $400. Most ISP's will do this kind of thing -
most will just not tell you. If the link is full (which has not been an
issue to date), we would rather reserve the right to slow non-interactive
traffic then make the web unuseable for everyone.

Thanks for your feedback. (I have posted this on list, as I believe it is
