good grief... he'd rather fight with a solution that almost certainly wont
work, rather than an Ni500... Nokia must be ashamed of the old version of
THAT particular modem... :)

An NI500 WILL NOT WORK. Go with Geoffs solution of a router that you
communicate with over PPTP. To be honoust, I'd suggest fighting with an
internal modem over using an NI500.
