I wanted to ask one of you knowledgeable chaps if you could figure the
reasoning behind not allowing ppl to have their real IP on their box when
they got jetstream account throught telecom, and why it is against the rules
to do this now with their equipment.
This is what happened with dial-up. I am no technical expert at all - but
dial up worked well. NAT/NAPT breaks applications. I dont have a LAN to
protect or a database of critical information, why did Telecom impose this
set up?
Was it a security thing or what? Just becase bandwidth has gone from 56.6 to
125 there is no need to get uptight is there?
