You can only get "host name not found" when using hostnames, not IP addresses.

I assume you mean you tried to use Internet Explorer to examine a web server?
Domains and IP numbers are quite different things. You shouldn't use Internet
Explorer as a diagnostic tool, as it tends to lie or hide the real problem or
try and search MSN for whatever you were looking for.
