The following was what I had in mind, but wasn't included in the
original.

I was referring to the rather long and non-techical rambling which was
going on. By all means, if there is something technical to discuss go
ahead. But I think we had enough of "you said, I said" etc...

I think what needs to be kept in mind that is everyone helping on this
list is doing so on a volunteer basis. If someone seeking help finds
that the service is not up to their expectations, the person should
either change their expectations or their source of help.
