I had the exact same problem as this with a Panasonic cordless phone
(probably the same model)..when I was using adsl with a Dynalink filter
(low volume, lots of noise etc), changing channels etc on the phone
didn't seem to help.

As far as I know there is no way round this, except for a splitter
(which solved the problem for me).
