I have the same problem with Dynalink filters and a Panasonic cordless. No
problems with corded phones and a Uniden cordless on the same line with the
same filters.

Looks like there's a clear pattern here.

Aaron.

I use ADSL with Dynalink In-line filter and have no volume problems with it.
I haven't tested with my cordless phone though because the antenna broke off
and got lost when my family moved house several years ago.
Maybe people are experiencing low "phone" volumes because they have too much
devices on the phone line.
By my experience, having 1 device connected to a phone line gives higher
volume than having 3 or 4 devices connected to a phone line.

People should know the safe limit per phone line is 5 plus ADSL, but I try
to keep it safe and don't exceed 4 plus ADSL.
