ok, I was bored..

say we have the following network

internet --- DSL --- M1122 --- 192.168.1.0/24 -- 10.0.0.0/24

Subnet 1
192.168.1.0/24 has
192.168.1.1 - M1122
192.168.1.254 - Gateway to 10.0.0.0/24

Win2k Network
10.0.0.0/24 has
10.0.0.1 Gateway to internet
10.0.0.2-10.0.0.254 - workstations

telnet to M1122

login to get Admin access
(user fred, password Telecom)

MW1122>configure
MW1122(conf)#common
MW1122(conf-common)#ip route 10.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254 eth

save this and exit, you may need to reboot

this will enable machines from the 10.0.0.0/24 network to access the M1122
without any NAT across the gateway

you should then be able to pinhole ports directly across to the 10.0.0.0/24
network (including ICMP)

your gateway box must be able to forward IP packets
