There's a section on the FAQ for the modems themselves located here:

It deals with specific issues with the modem software and
hardware. However, if there's anything that you feel could be explained
in greater detail in hardware terms, let me know and I'll add to it.

The FAQ lets everyone add their own Questions and Answers themselves, so
its not restricted to just myself and Craig to contribute to.
