think you'd be the perfect candidate for someone who an FAQ is aimed at.

Like mentioned multiple times in this very thread, there is already such
an FAQ, and also other helpful resources these places:

http://adsl.soa.co.nz and
http://www.nzdsl.co.nz and
http://unixathome.org/adsl

However, it's up to you if you want to duplicate work that's already been done.
