RE: Anyone else lost DSL this morning ?

The big question is did the _FRAME_ _RELAY_ customers in this area also
lose connectivity?

For those that are unaware - Telecom now provisions Frame Relay over
S.HDSL as it's first choice. S.HDSL uses the same Dslams as ADSL, so
when ADSL dies because of a DSLAM fault, so does S.HDSL.

(Don't confuse S.HDSL with HDSL - HDSL doesn't use the ADSL DSLAMS)

I've been bitten by this. Just an interesting little bit of info for
anyone getting Frame Relay provisioned.

Cheers - Neil Gardner

Sorry, I figured everyone knew where I was by now - Mt Eden
(09-631-xxxx) exchange. The phone line component is still good, but DSL
is very dead.

Knowing my luck, they'll probably find the fault today and put me back
onto the dodgy card I was on back in november where my DSL went down
every couple of minutes.
