If you telnet to the M1122 there is a restore command.

I don't want to try it, because I would have reset all the pinholes and
stuff.

Worth a try for you tho.

Subject: Nokia M1122 resetting (completely)

Is it possible to ascertain for certain if a given M1122 is an ex rental
(and how) plus is it possible to completely reset either an ex rental or
standard retail back to factory settings? Is there anything in the
Telecom ones that is completely unchangeable?

(I have a working CLI cable)

Cheers - Neil Gardner
