A multiple cable is when the cable appears in more than one location. Your
cable could "T" off and go down a side road as well as carrying on down the
street and another side road. Think of your line as a water pipe, when you
want another tap you T in and run the new pipe to the new location. To
utilize cable it can be run to more than one location, this is a multiple
cable terminal. This can have side effects on high frequency data traveling
down the cable.
