I could do with a bit of help setting up a new connection.

The card is a new Nokia ni200, the ISP is Xtra

I did a standard PPPoA install of the card, triple checked the correct
parameters and modes. The result was I got a ADSL connection with ok rates
up & down, but the login to Xtra keeps on failing. The diagnostics show bad
packets coming back.

A couple of re-installs later, and an install into another machine, I'm
still getting the same results.

Last check, I tried the PC and card on another (known good) adsl line. The
same result.

I have checked the login/password with Xtra, it's ok.

Now I'm getting pissed off! With the bad packets coming back, am I looking
at a flakey card? Would a wrong login send back bad packets?

All suggestions gratefully accepted.

cheers

Robin
