I can confirm that the RTA210 has SNMP running by default, I was using MRTG
to look at mine last night, and then walked the whole Agent which is where I
found my username and password as plain text for all the world to see...
I'm not sure (nor am I the most knowledgeable person on IP) but aren't those
just HTTP and TELNET ports, doesn't SNMP run on 161? Wouldn't pin holing
those ports just stop people access the admin interface of the router, what
I'm talking about is the username and password of your ISP account NOT the
admin interface
FYI: on an RTA020/RTA210 querying 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.23.2.3.1.5.2.1 will return
the username
Or may be I've missed your point about the pin holes...
Cheers, Jason

Hi
They are until you change the password for the default then pinhole port 23
and 80 to internal non-existant IP addresses. As for SNMP on the RTA210?
Until I get some kind of response out of Dynalink, I think I'll just assume
it's vapourware.
Steve
