working VPN over a Dynalink RTA020

well... it appears that VPN over a Dynalink RTA020 IS actually possible...

HOWEVER, there are some conditions on this... the major one being that the
VPN kit you're using needs to support NAT-Traversal. From a quick google
search, it seems that this system wraps IPSec packets in UDP packets to
prevent the router from breaking the IPSec packet integrity when it modifies
the IP headers.

Its supposedly a self discovering system, that identifies all the NAT
devices between the 2 ends and adapts automatically, i was not required to
make any config changes on the client box to get it to work, except for the
installation of the VPN software.

The software was NetScreen Remote on a Win2k box, and it seems to work
fine...

yay for my $300 router, who knows... one of these days i might even figure
out that 'ppp tunnel' command :)
