While there are effective filtering packages available - has anyone
given a thought as to how to keep porn out of email?
I am not a parent, but if I were it would be my primary concern,
particularly hotmails (which kids love).
My own hotmail accumulated 400 messages (last time I looked - 12 - 18
months ago), 4 were relevant 396 were spam and near all the spam was
links to adult sites. I have not opened that inbox again since.
The other addressee's in the two field suggest many of the
perpertrators are not using/buying existing hotmails, but making them
up! There are so many hotmails now the technique must pay dividends.
ICQ appears to have exactly the same problem - although at least you
can turn off the unsolicited chats with that app.

Best
Warwick
