1) As long as your machine keeps issuing a DHCP renew, you should keep
getting the same IP address.
2) The GUI usually adds a username for itself to configure the router,
but I don't recall seeing the "Jaidu" username. I thought it used
"Cisco". Could be wrong though. Haven't used the GUI for quite some
time.

thinking my machine had died, but flatmate had been rebooting his, and
mine kept getting different addresses.. Is that standard?
