There is some info on www.net-direct.co.nz but this is mainly refering to
the Actiontec Install Service for those members of the public who can not
and should not attempt to install a router by them selves.

I can send info on the routers to anyone who wishes, ie brochures. If you
are a dealer, you can access Techpacs web site to get all the info and
pricing etc.

I can also arrrange a demo units for those of you who are resellers / isps
etc. Come back to me off list.

Cheers

Belinda

Subject: Actiontec: anyone have any info on this range

Actiontec seems to have a nice range of products, and according to
their website they have about 10% of the US market with adsl routers.
but I can't find any info on this list about them. Anyone used them,
have any feedback

the following is marketing blurb please dont flame me but it is all i
know as I do not have one yet

The Actiontec Tahoe WirelessReady ADSL Gateway
* Full rate ADSL modem / Router
* 4-Port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch
* 2 PC Card slots (has available 802.11b and 802.11a cards)
* USB for a single pc connection

If it works it seems like a nice replacement for the nokia routers and
is a cross between the m1122 and the mw1122 as it has both the wireless
pc card support and 4 port hub and at a similar price to the final
nokia pricing

I know from their local agents it is not the same as the USA version
described on the website. It does support pppoa and ipsec pptp etc,
and was told not to download the firmware from the website as it will
nolonger give you pppoa. He said the local website will be up shortly

So any one used one or should i bite the bullet and see if I can get
one on appro
