I have the same problem...fine looking but cuts out when transacting!

Same thing has been happening to us with National Bank, but I've only
noticed it today ... maybe yesterday?

Anyway, it seems to login okay, but times out after bringing up the top
most buttons of the screen. So I'm able to log out okay, but can't do
anything. Seems to be fine with dialup though.

ASB Bank online seems to be fine ....

I was wondering if anybody else has experienced problems using secure
sites
such as online banking with ADSL (Jetstart)?

I am using a Alcatel Speedtouch Pro configured as a router (Gv8bab3.281
firmware), Windows XP, IE6 and having difficulties with the Nationalbank
NZ
online banking site.

I can logon, but when I try to undertake an activity such as looking up
balances the site seems to stop responding half-way through returning
the
next web-page. The problem is intermittent, but occurs more often than
not.

If I connect with a standard modem on the same machine everything seems
fine.

I was wondering if the built-in firewalling of the Speedtouch Pro or NAT
was
breaking the secure
communications?

Has anybody experienced similar problems and knows of a fix?
