>>10 minutes for transferring a 4 meg file over adsl is ok?????<<

Are you on normal ADSL Jetstream or 128k jetstart?

I just transferred a 4.8mb file over my xtra jetstream adsl from a new
zealand web site and it took 20 seconds.....

Sounds like something ain't right there.

Subject: M1122 ethernet ports slow after change out
Last week Telecom changed out our rental M1122 router. For what reason
we
don't know. We have run out of LAN ports on our main hub and are using
the ports on this unit to serve some of our non essential PCs. However
we
notice that traffic over these ports is as slows as a dial up
modem between the main server and PC. The ADSL side is fine. ie a file
transfer of 4 Meg takes 10 minutes.
Does any one have any ideas what may be causing this or who do we call
to
get it fixed?? Telecom or Xtra??
Thanx in advance.
