Try doing a traceroute to see if the traffic stays inside the paradise

My issue is that I am doing some GB's of transfers to a user who is also a paradise customer and I am being "charged" at 100%, rather than 10% or even 0%. I am on Paradise Jetstart. Traffic between me and a Paradise Cable user is appearing against my usage totals (which breaks down into International and National) as International Traffic. Traffic within Paradise is supposedly rated at 0% and is not shown. As far as I know, paradise.net.nz does not provide cable service to international users. > >-- >Regan Murphy. >------------- > > >-----Original Message----- >From: Peter Ingham [mailto:ping_adsl@3days.co.nz] >Sent: Monday, 12 August 2002 7:52 p.m. >To: adsl@lists.unixathome.org >Subject: Paradise traffic accounting > > >I've noticed that traffic from my Paradise ADSL connection to a >Paradise Cable connection appears in the Usage pages as International >Traffic. > >Has anyone else noticed this? > >No response from the Paradise Help desk yet. >-- >Please remove '_SpamTrap' when replying. > >Peter Ingham >Lower Hutt >New Zealand > >-- >This message is part of the NZ ADSL mailing list. >see http://unixathome.org/adsl/ for archives, FAQ, >and various documents. >To unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@lists.unixathome.org >with "unsubscribe adsl" in the body of the message > -- This message is part of the NZ ADSL mailing list. see http://unixathome.org/adsl/ for archives, FAQ, and various documents.
