What are he doing wrong?

The modem in question has lost every thing. Have been able to get in and
reload the image.exe. The STAT LED is flashing now where it was not before.
We can wri the startup.cfg to the modem but it will not use it. The cfg file
was writen under notepad and saved as *.cfg. Does it need to be writen with
another Program or encoded in a different way? The modem seems to be going
in a loop due to no startup.cfg file.

Can you extract one out of another modem? The xget seems to be only able to
receive.
