And when some drunk hits a powerpole? Dont you lose service. Or when
council workers dig up waterpipes? Dont you loose service. Some big
power cable fails, dont you again loose service? Basically what you are
saying, is crap. Those services do have outages, its just they have had
their infrastructure in for decades, they have had decades to work out
the bugs... of course the service is going to be more stable.

You pay peanuts, you get a monkey, its that simple. If you want a SLA
with a garenteed 24/7 uptime, you CAN get it, you just have to pay for
it.

Telecom offer jetwhatever as a 'Best Effort service' Their best effort
could be up 1 hour out of each week, but you are still getting what you
pay for.

Im sure there are numerous companys who could offer you other solutions,
but im also sure by your whinging you are not prepared to pay for it.
