I am having problems with a dsl-504 at the moment. It it not the router
though as someone else is having identical problems with a different
brand router connected to the same card at the telecom exchange. I also
tried hooking up a nokia m11 and that didn't work either. Don't
necessarily believe telecom when they tell you there is nothing wrong
with the line. If at all possible get another router to the customer to
test with when this happens.

Can you answer these questions?

1. how long do the dropouts last? i.e. Is the connection restored
immediately, or after some time?
2. Does switching off the router and turning it back on fix it?
3. How often is this happening? Once a day, once an hour, every five
minutes? Different, depending on the day?

problems with drop outs... not PPP drop outs, but complete drops of DSL.
= Telecom say there is nothing wrong with any of their lines... has
anyone = else heard of a similar problem with this modem?
