I agree with you comments on the things that cause a loss of service.

My argument it the system should be designed such that there is ALWAYS a
backup.

Look just how much of NZ has been without power at various times because
there are no backups.

Services such as power, water and phone should NEVER EVER have any outages.

Sad fact is I get about one a week for power and one a month for phone..
Well isn't this such a great country.. Ho Hum..
