I've just uploaded a relatively basic kernel to
http://www.treshna.com/~chefu/dsl.tar.bz2 (1.4Mb) that includes the itex
module, ppp-pppoa binary, ppp options file, and a very basic kernel with
iptables support

Unfortunately the only network card the kernel supports is an isa NE2000
card.

The most useful thing you might find though is the config file which
I've made avilble seperately,
http://www.treshna.com/~chefu/config-2.4.16 maybe try configuring your
new kernel with that as a base. It's been so long since I've compiled an
itex kernel that I cant remember the specifics off the top of my head.

As far as your dmesg goes... heres an excert from my syslog... It would
be interesting to know if your module actually detects the chip, or if
thats whereabouts its crashing.
